My birthday present

My dad got me a computer for my birthday. Usually he gets the most ripped of deals ever, but this time he acctually did pretty good.
specs:
some generic brand mobo with only 2 pci slots and 1 cnr slot, no features what so ever (wait it gets better)
AXP 1800+
256MB kingston pc2700
52x??x52x lite-on burner (I forgot the middle number, lol)
60 gig 7200 rpm 2MB cache WD hard drive
*shudder* on board sound and video

He only paid 200$ for it. This doesn't seem so bad, considering it was ready to go right out of the box with a case, mouse, monitor and keyboard already included.

I'm gonna put a sound blaster live in it, and later on I'll toss the mobo in favor of a better one and I'll probably put an r8500 that my friend was going to throw away in it.

Its kinda pathetic, only a 15 incher with a max res of 1024x768.

That's not bad at all for just an internet computer and for downloading. I'd be please to have a second rig like that.

Like Fallout1/2 and Tyrian!!!!

I think I might turn this computer into a silentPC, I'll also try to remove as many devices from start-up as possible. I wanna try to make it like a console. I'll put MAME and EPSXE on it too!

EDIT: and lets not forget about age of empires 2:conqurers.

EDIT agian: I think I'll also put zsnes on it.

Crappy games? Man where are you guys from? He has a Ti4400 in there..... He can play the most recent games with 1024x768 and low detail. That's a very nice rig for $200. Even lightly gameable.
