It's actually just over another hour to go as the clocks are on summer time (1 hour ahead). Never-the-less it is quite exciting waiting for the end of the world. I might as well quickly cook some pasta. I don't want to die yearning for food.

Something must have happened cause the date is Dec 10th, 2008 for me. I turned on the news only to see Obama is the President Elect, FarCry 2 got 7.5 on Gamespot and Angelina Jolie is pregnant again.

Seth it isn't over it's just starting. I've been in CERN in 1998 when I visited some relatives who lived then in Bern. That LHC was still under construction and the guide told us that when it's started it would take some time to get it to full speed.

btw. Freeman was there already in 1998
