That's the problem. Who do you blame? Which one of the hundreds of people was the one responsible for killing him? It's like one of those old mystery movies where 100 people took part in stabbing a guy to death, each taking one stab. Who, out of all those people, made the stab that killed him? The death was caused by a group acting irresponsibly in unison, all involved should be held to account.

it wouldn't matter considering they all were part of the cause, even if the guy was dead before the last few stabbed him, they would still be guilty of trying to kill em reguardless of how unintentional.


they should all be charged.... with something, man slaughter would likely be a little over the top.... but definite some degree of murder.

It's really no different, then driving a truck down the road and knowing full well there is a a person standing dead center on the road in which there is no where for the person could possibly go, therefore only giving 2 possible outcomes, run the guy over or stop. They chose to drive over him, instead of stopping.


Someone lost thier life DUE TO peoples addiction to materialism. They have essentially killed someone in order to be one of the first to save a few bucks... they may as well have been handed a gun and told "shoot this man and you can get an extra 5 minute start on saving some money"

because there is far more money grabing assholes out there then usually anyone would care to admit, specially when they are one of them. Ugh... At first, I thought that this was just a tragic accident, that the door gave way due to the overwhelming pressure and that the man got killed in the mess that followed, with the people that overran him merely trying to avoid getting trampled themselves, but then I read this:

WTF?! That's so sad and angering. I really think that the people involved should be identified (there at least has to be some security camera footage that could help with that). As for the company... I really don't know if this craze could have been anticipated. All of this happened at 5AM, and the usual opening time was 9AM. In retrospective, there should have been armed guards, instructed not to hesitate to shoot.

I think large stores should be responsible for making sure officers are present at black friday launches. They can keep the line in order or dismiss people until the store opens.

Good Gawd.. if this story couldn't get any more disgusting. I was watching a followup story to this on the news last night, and there was mention the 28 year old pregnant women had in fact lost the baby. Don't know which is true, but if it is then a tragic story just got a whole lot worse.

However, that's not the tip of this disgusting pile. They went on to say that when Wal-Mart tried to close the store up shoppers wouldn't leave. Wal-mart even announced it over the PA system that a man had died, and every time they tried to close the store down shoppers were arguing about having to leave, or refusing to leave until they were done. Some gave a sh!t, the rest kept shopping, saying things like there was no way they were leaving as they had been in line all night, and sh!t of that nature. Pond scum.. the lot of them.

Sh!t... it's been 12 hours since I saw that new report, and I'm still angry about it. Gawd damn disgusting aweful sh!t.

Tipstaff, fortunately, the pregnant woman and the unborn baby are fine, the report about miscarriage is wrong. But yes, it is disgusting.

I'm not from around there, so I must ask even if it's a little off topic, are the holiday deals really so great? I mean 2000 people were already there at 5AM, the morning after a holiday?! Unless they saved $500+, wouldn't it have been much easier to just do a few hours of overtime work instead of camping in front of a store for hours at such time?
