"Flying in a Blue Dream" was definitely a kick ass album. It was much more diverse than anything that I had heard from either he, Steve Via, or Eric Johnson before.

On the subject of diversity I think "Not of this Earth" would be Satch in his rawest form ...
As "Flexable" was for Steve Vai. I'm a big fan of both As for Malmsteen Jeff .... After studying his style for a number of years ... He bores me to death. No offense but ... it is possible to bend a note ... hold it ... and put some vibrato on it On a completely different note(Being Canadian) Leona Boyd is an outstanding classical guitar player. Had the pleasure of chatting with her briefly about 15 years ago.

And one more thing
I know Hendrix is dead....like duh, right? But I dusted off my old copy of Crash Landing, a bastard remix of his old stuff by a record producer...most of it is pretty good....I like Peace In Mississippi to wake my son up for chores....ha ha...
