Re: My newest toy

Cool, what model number is it? I have a 32" Samsung Series 5 on my wall. Got it Hooked up to a PS3, 360 and Sky+ (Uk version of Tivo). I want to get the new LED TV's that are on their way.

Re: My newest toy

yes the LED backlit samsung 9 series tv is beautiful.. but at a little over 14,800 bucks... it'll be a little while..

the 6/7/8 series samsung tvs are all pretty much identical.....

the 5 series is basically the first tvs with 1080p.... they look good.. but they are quite different from the 6 series.

hell of alot better then the 4 series though or any other comparible tv.

True, I didn't want to spend any more than the cost of a Series 5, although I wish I had extra money to go for the Series 6.

Re: My newest toy

ok...one unforseen event in terms of placement of my TV.

i have to turn my head far to the left and up in order to watch TV and be on the comp at the same time. didn't have to do that before with my old CRT TV, lol. oh well, that's not necessary when playing on my 360

I thought Bose speaker/sound quality went downhill? If I could get good speakers for my PC, I think I'd like to have some Swan's.

z-5500 isn't bulky.....

considering that the sub is the amp as well, set off to the side with a receiver unit that is small and reaches roughly 6 feet or better

then the speakers mount using 2 screws... they are far from bulky for what they are capable of imo..

bah... you can set stuff on the sub.... you must might have to super glue it so it doesn't rattle off...

put it away in the corner... 6 inches from the wall.. and you'll be laughing as your teeth fall out from the vibrations..
