I've never understood the attraction to Dragon Ball Z..... i always found it to fall right in line with the fads of Pogs, Pokeamon....and the like....

I wonder if the movie is just going to be one which holds true to the dragon ball Z storyline or if it'll be one of the intros to the story.. or just fail miserably... guess we'll find out on that day...

I was a real fan back in the day of DBZ, lets see what happens. I was really looking forward to max pein but it was dung, my expectations will be real low for this one.

If you show this movie to someone who has never heard of Dragon Ball, he might like the movie a little for the action scenes.

But I don't see how a true fan might like it. From watching the trailer, they just took pieces here and there and made a movie unfaithful to the original story.

The worse to me in the trailer, is the choice of the actor for Goku. Goku is supposed to look strong but have a relaxed/funny personality. The guy they choose looks like a wimp. I would have taken an actor that has big mucles that can act well.

Roshi is supposed to be an old guy with a white beard and glasses but they went with an actor without a beard, black hair and no glasses.

It's like Dead or Alive. It will be horrible to watch.

This movie is nothing like the cartoon. Its some stupid kid that cant fight who gets trained up by some old man. Sounds familiar...oh yeah, The Karate Kid.
