A few weeks ago I found some barbeque sauce on our porch that had been their for a very long time, I poured some out and tasted it and it was terrible. I didn't want to waste the part I poured out, so I finished eating it with chicken. By the time I was done with it I loved how it tasted. Now I have run out and I tried at least 5 different brands, but none of them taste as good as this old one. Its kind of odd how at first I hated it, then I loved it better than regular sauce. Now I'm sad that nothing tastes as good at it did.

buy some and leave it for a year, then keep buying some every week and doing the same thing, then next year you will have a constant supply........... only problem is, having none for the first year.

Thats what I'm thinking of doing, but I'm not sure of the exact amount of time it was out their. It could have been a month, or it could have been a year.

Surely your jus' wanting expired sauce then, go to your supermarket look through all the dates and then take any out of date ones to the till, at my local shop they give it you for free coz they can't legally sell it. But then again there's a reason things have expiry dates on them.
