Well, in few hours I am off to London, where I will stay over night and then on Friday I am off to Greece. Back to the motherland, and all that.

Earlier today (techincally yesterday since it is past midnight here) I sent my TV with parcelforce (hope it arrives ok, the box also contains two xbox 360 controllers) and the rest of my stuff with UPS. Including my desktop PC. I am very worried about them. Yes, I insured them with UPS for some money that should cover any damage, but I rather not have to deal with it. The reason I am worried is because A)I don't trust other people with my things, B)the boxes were quite heavy, heavy boxes=potential trouble.

Anyway, if all goes well, in about a week or so I will receive them in Greece.

Till then I will have my trusty (but slow ass) netbook for all my computing needs...almost, I also have a desktop PC there (gts8800 640mb, E6600 etc) but I plan on selling it asap, so it doesn't count.

I hate travelling. Trains are ok, unless when you have to make changes, but I can't stand planes. The lack of comfort, the safety (I don't care if it is supposed to be the safest means to travel, i rather have a car crash or accident in a ship than plane crash), but most of all the noise. That noise from the engines and the A/C going on and on and just not allowing you to relax and force you to put on headphones. But then the person next to you might complain, etc.

Chances are I will never return to the UK. I am going to miss some things. I am not going to type the important and serious ones, but one less so. Dave, the TV channel Dave. Sure it just takes what other channels have and broadcast it a few years later, but, it's all the full goodness in one full day!
And Gilmore Girls.

So...my point, well, none really. I just felt like sharing this.

I hope the hotel will have good wi-fi.

I don't plan on sleeping tonight.

hope everything goes ok man.

I feel your pain about planes, my issue with them are a: airports (urgh) b: delays (always get them) c: annoying passengers (always get them) d: being lumbered beside someone who stinks (happens semi regularly) e: not enough leg room unless you pay bank.

ive had my share of flying to last me a lifetime.

I left Aber at 0930, there was a Virgin Trains delay (shocking I know) of one hour, and reached London at almost 4pm. Then, I ....couldn't remember the name of the hotel, didn't have internet access to check and couldn't find the printed info. Finally I did and reached the hotel at 1900. Excausted, ordered fish and chips and a banana split, plus pepsi and it was good enough. The hotel from the outside is a bit meh, but the inside is quite good and the crew here are very nice, both in service and in looks. yes, I can be shallow if I want to.

Problems with it are the free ride to the hotel which turned out to be 3 pounds and the free wi-fi which means 6 or 10 pounds...

Tomorrow morning I will wake up at 5 and get ready. I am a bit nervous about flying, usualy I am not, I had no real problem when I flew on the September 12th 2001., but I don't know, something...

Anyway, hopefully all will go well and will suffer a heat stroke when they open the plane's door after landing in Thessaloniki.

Oh, I don't know what the area is called (hotel) but it is a lovely town/suburb. Very nice place.

Made it. Found why I had the bad feeling. As soon as I entered the plane I had to release a huge fart. I kept it in for the duration, that sucked.

Life is slow. I decided to stay inside for a week, just in case I caught the famous flu while on my way here. I am not feeling ill, but I better suffer this for a week than risk other people's lives just so I get outside.
So, it is very noisy, hot, and feels like a large city, but the good thing about this city is that it never feels harsh, or like an urban jungle, you know?

I am using ups tracker, but, I lost my receipt with the id on it...so, I hope nothing happens to them or I might find myself in trouble or something.

I don't know where they are, in theory I will have them on the 12th of June. Man I miss my PC.

Even if you order something to be delivered, courier service in Greece is very cheap. There are some Thessaloniki only larger stores, but just a couple of them. There are also some small family owned shops but rarely you will find the best offers there. The prices are the same more or less 5% depending on the product and the shop. You can look for products if you want at this page ???????? ????? ?? online ???????????, ???? ????????? ???? ?????, ??????? online! - Skroutz.gr to search for specific products. It doesn't always show the true inventory and it doesn't have every shop that has online precense, but it is good enough.

all the saposed mentioned cases of h1n1 have been confirmed to be not specifically the cause of any death thus far, more people are dieing from the common cold and flu.. but those aren't rated as pandemic like h1n1 has been....
