Bluetooth - causing DNA and nerve damage?
I was hunting around on google for something else and I stumbled upon this thread which fascinated me so much I just had to post it.
Check this out. Apple - Support - Discussions - Bluetooth & AirPort -- DNA or Nerve ... |

Re: Bluetooth - causing DNA and nerve damage?
To be honest i seriously doubt it, if it was true it would get to the point of "He's sending a file through bluetooth, take him down!" ect.
The symptons the guy's posted about on there are similair to the ones i get when i suffer cluster headaches, perhaps he needs to spend less time on the phone and more time just mellowin' out |

Re: Bluetooth - causing DNA and nerve damage?
I don't doubt that people can get hypersensitive to various kinds of electromagnetic forces. In an urban environment however there is so much energy in the air already to make me sceptical of what difference that a single off-skin Bluetooth device could make.

I skimmed through the first post.
It sounds like he is having or about to have a heart attack.

Re: Bluetooth - causing DNA and nerve damage?
they already demonstrated scientifically that various sound/radio/light frequencies can have SERIOUS effects on us... a simple frequency change forced on us can cause unknown effects. It's not hard to perceive that interferrance can occur to the various nerves and such.
I know 2 people that can't be in florecent lighting or else they get skin irritation, one of which gets sevear burns if around them for to long. This make it extremely difficult for him to go into most buildings due to it. They've also demonstrated in a vacumm that dna went blasted with various forms of radio frequencies and light energy will greatly effect it either enhancing it's structure or completely destroying it to the point of near unrecoverability. We are being bombarded by various levels of radio/light energy, from the satalites up in space right down to the cell towers to the simple little remote controls that we have... not to mention radar and such.

Re: Bluetooth - causing DNA and nerve damage?
truth be told any form of electronic device, has some sort of radiation (however very minute is nature) over long periods of use yes they can effect us, or if one is over-sensitive, is it is possible... but the first post (lost interest after that), i don't really thing so,....

Re: Bluetooth - causing DNA and nerve damage?
Any device that transmits or receives radiates some sort of radiation. I have been installing Bluetooth adapters and amplifiers for air cards for the last couple of years though and haven't had any of these symptoms

Re: Bluetooth - causing DNA and nerve damage?
About his story Bluetooth story, maybe his milk in his morning cereals was not fresh. That would explain the stomach ache.
Some people are allergic to zinc, a metal sometimes used on the surface of cellphones. Maybe that's what he has, some form of allergy with some material that happens to be present on some wireless products he used. A study shows that cell phone could trigger allergic reactions. They talk about "electromagnetic hypersensitivity" and it looks like it's real. some of the symptoms match what the poster reported. Cell Phone Radiation And Health |

Re: Bluetooth - causing DNA and nerve damage?
About the original story , There must be something wrong with writer , we live between thousands of electric and magnetic harmonics but there is a safe limit that won't affect the human unless been exposed for it for a long and continuous time. So don''t sit under your wifi router while waiting your meal in the microwave , your mobile bluetooth on , playing with Microsoft Natal and say I don't
feel so good.Another confusing thing : I used to put my cell phone in shirt then I heard its radiation will affect the heart pulse so I put it in my trousers but I heard it causes sterility so I decided not to listen to any of this BS again

Re: Bluetooth - causing DNA and nerve damage?
I've actually experienced a slight tingling sensation after holding a mobile phone in my hand for a prolonged period of time, though I never decided whether it was all in my hand or for real (I'm not having it anymore, though, possibly in part because I hardly use my mobile, except for a brief conversation or an SMS; also the Siemens C60 and Motorola V980 I used to have both had above average SAR levels).
I also seem to hear a quiet tweeting in my ears if I happen to have a long conversation over the mobile phone. A friend of mine says that he's experienced the same thing with his cordless (landline) telephone, albeit after significantly longer conversations. I've no experience with bluetooth, but I remember hearing and reading in several places that using hands-free to lower the amount of radiation absorbed by the brain is actually counter productive (though not that it's actually harmful). Getting a definite answer on questions like this takes a few decades, just like we now know that first generation of mobile phones did in fact increase probability of getting a brain tumor. The current technology just hasn't been in use long enough for the consequences to emerge, or for us to be able to say that there aren't any. What we do know is that current generation of cell phones emits much lower radiation levels than the first generation ones, but that doesn't necessarily make it harmless, especially since modern usage pattern is much different (more intensive) than the old one.

Re: Bluetooth - causing DNA and nerve damage?
True.....
We used leaded pewter drinking cups and lead pipes for water for how long before it was determined that lead was dangerous? You can say it's safe to use cell phones, but nobody really knows yet what it can do over a long time........ we haven't had them long enough yet to know anything.
