For sure i know that with global climate change we are all noticing certain changes in the weather in our localities.

Its been raining here since last night. Now thats sounds ok, but we live in a savana like region,i.e. short scruby woodland and grassy planes.
It rarely ever rains in winter and when it does its a mere drizzle.

It poured last night through to this morning!
Thats bad because the lifeforms in this region arent adapted to wet and cold just dry cold during winter.
Now the bitter cold (and wet [new])coupled with the low temperatures.......
What effect is that having on our enviroment here?
Will there be any National geographic visits to see our wildlife at this rate.
i.e. lions, zebra, wildebeerst, etc

I have quite a few brit friends , I know they'd love the idea of a sunny and hot UK.
I think we have switched weather patterns. Cold wet is supposed to be you guys

I haven't seen a common weather pattern, meaning typical for the area OR even the same each year, for the past 10 years. (so that's both California and Ohio) Every year has been very different from the last and there is a lot of "record breaking" weather. Record rain, wind speed, temps. (both high and low), snowfall, etc.

When I was a kid (ancient history here) weathermen could fairly accurately predict the weather...... now they don't have a clue. That's not because of their natural stupidity but because none of the old rules mean anything any more.

It is drastically effecting wildlife too, both plant and animal......... Example: Two years ago the common "Robin" (bird) tried to migrate south and ran smack into a major snowstorm in southeast US...... in an area where it doesn't snow. Many died, some came back north and found no food..... They normally eat worms, bugs, etc. and started eating crabapples that were frozen on the trees......... Last year, the starlings didn't migrate at all..........

I work with poor farmers here in my country. This past year alone has been very unusual for them as in one province they experienced Storm Signal 1--an occurance that has never happened in the last 50 years. As such, they're finding it hard to plant traditional crops...

I live in Texas, its freaking hot. There's nothing new about that. The only thing I'm not complaining about is that it hasn't hit over 100 degrees yet.

we've had frost nearly every day and only recently had a nice rain. but it was dry before... which isn't good nor normal...

usually we don't have frost at all after april 15th

This is actually from 2007 when our neighberhood was hit by a rather heavy hail storm. 1-2 inces thick thick. My cam date was set wrongly
