actually ... my father who isn't a movie fanatic at all.. and wouldn't pay a time to go to a theater even if you offered to pay it for him, views movies as "i sit down, i watch, entertain me or else" kind of attitude... most of all the movies we've watched he considers crap...

but tranformers.... he thoroughly enjoyed... not enough to pay for a ticket, but he'd go if we had offered.

well all I can say is if he thought it was really good and the other stuff was bad that you must watch some awful godamn movies !

I went to see this with my girlfriend a few nights ago. I was sitting thinking how terrible it was and I turned around to ask my girl if she wanted to leave and she was asleep. How the hell she feel asleep through all the bangs, explosions and effects I don't understand. I managed to stay awake, but the consensus with all my friends after seeing it is that Michael Bay has to load his movies with stuff blowing up cause he can't do anything else.

Utter crap, have to say it.
