Schumacher makes shock F1 return

Michael Schumacher will make a shock return to Formula 1 to replace injured Ferrari driver Felipe Massa.
The seven-time world champion, 40, retired at the end of 2006 but has agreed to drive at the European Grand Prix in Valencia on 23 August.

Massa fractured his skull in Hungarian GP qualifying and may be out for the rest of the year.

With all the "PC" and "fair play", F1 has become very boring. I hope the teams leave F1 and start a new championship without the rules by the nazi.

As for M.Schumacher, I am glad he will return even for a race or two. Gives me a reason to watch it.

Wonder if anyone is going to "do a Brawn" and take over BMW... not been stellar this year, but the the turnaround from the quit Honda to Brawn, at least for the first part of the season, has been an inspiration.

I guess Schumacher taking Massa's seat, suggests that he's only keeping it warm for Massa if he can be race fit for next season or later in this one, as I can't see him being the one to do a whole season next year.
