Teen had close encounter with shark

I remember being at the beach late one night and I was laying in the shallow water and then I suddenly felt like I was being watched and then hunted! I sprinted out of the water to find only that my towel and best shoes had been taken!!

Another time I was surfing and I got dumped under a reasonable sized wave and my ears kaned after that... no sharks though!

By showing the shark a Christians cross... I doubt that would help

BTW i love Nature Programs.. And for what i have seen there is no safe protocol with sharks. Every shark has an element of Risk regardless to how or where a person decides to swim.

I have no idea why you would feel that way, all Mig did was his job, tidying up the forums - this thread belongs in the OT forum as it has zero political or religious aspects. I haven't actually read the story yet. The headline grabbed me and after everything I was too tired, but if what you say is right then that is true. Agreed.

BTW, Just to satisfy a joke I Can think of the political aspect of this story. One is parental responsibility now that you've mentioned it and the other one is something that is taught is babies schhool, "Be Aware of your Surroundings"!

Methinks the father was trying to get rid of his kid. Why else would you send send your kid back to the sharks with the smell of blood inviting them for dinner? If I was an Aussie, I'd stay out of the water and on the beach...hell I'd stay off the beach too cause of the 30 minute cancer inducing sun tans. Stay home and play whack the dingo.

From my personal experience, psychiatry involves alot of use of sex. When a parent is using psychiatry I stay away. I don't want anything to do mwith it!!!

Yes of course. I'm so frustrated though. Do you ever get that feeling when you see something that you know you've seen before, but can't put the words to it? I've seen this kind of story before. I don't know what it means though. There isn't enough information. Perhaps the father felt guilty for want ing his child then tried to get them to forget they knew about it by sending them back in the water. Who cares anyway. I'm sure noone here actually "knows" what's going on. One can only speculate which is exzactly what I was doing thank you.
