Is the audio cable maybe trapped somewhere further up? I dont remember there being any issue with it on our sample.

Not that I could see, on my board the front panel audio is underneath the LAN which is on the absolute furthest end of the board. I'll double check when I redo the cable management.

sweet case and tons of cable

just check if there is any kind of short curcit

if it is the front panel only it could be faulty

unmount the board and give it a try

Not actually sure whether the one I'm getting is like this, or the UK kind with "£" instead of "#" and "@" and """ swapped round, amongst other less significant tweaks. Hopefully it's UK-style.

ZOTAC Nano AD10 (Barebones, open box)

Got this little puppy for $200 flat (it was a return to my supplier.. original buyer said it wouldn't work.. which it obviously does), threw in a 4GB Corsair DD3-1333 stick of SODIMM RAM, and an OCZ Vertex SSD (flashed to a Turbo) that I got off a client for free. I originally had my Corsair Force F115 in there, but damned if I see a difference in performance, so the Vertex stays in there for now.

So far I've got Windows 7 Ultimate running on it, along with XMBC 10.1 (Dharma) as 11 (Eden) doesn't have Netflix support. I've tried running the Fusion builds of OpenELEC (Dharma nightly build) on it, but the wireless NIC just refuses to work regardless of what build I use.

Sweet phone. Got a chance to fool around with a friends phone, and now I'm itching to buy one.

Big tip: auto brightness is turned off by default, and since the screen is the big eater of the battery it's wise to turn it on. You'll get more mileage out of your battery after that.

My 2500k won't go past 4.2 so this should be fun.

Full review is over here so I know what kind of settings to aim for. I'm pretty sure my D-14 and UD7 can take this beast to 5ghz.

eBaying the old chip?

I'll see what kind of result I hit, anything around 4.8ghz I'll keep it and probably upgrade my sisters gaming PC (I have a Gigabyte P67 board and XMS3 ram from my previous upgrade collecting dust) with the old chip but if I can't get good results I'll sell it locally. I was going to wait for Ivy Bridge but money is tight while I pay off some debts and I got a good deal so reselling isn't a problem.

The cpu cooler they used to run it at 5ghz isn't as good as mine and I think my board has better overclocking features so maybe I can keep the vcore and temps lower.

I'd be slightly concerned about the vcore tbh, for extended usage. Depends how long you expect it to last. My personal preference would probably be something like your current clock speed or perhaps slightly faster with really low voltage and temps. That said, of course I'm no expert :P

Nah, I'm taking it as far as I can go heat be damned.

If I can get 5ghz stable then I don't mind it being hot as long as it's safe levels...don't wanna kill the thing lol. I'll do the install tomorrow or by Friday at latest and let you guys know.
