I recall saying to my Regina, as we lay down on the soft grass of a hillside and watched the evening come, her hair glowing as she sat up to tie it back, a gentle mist fell on us from nowhere and I watched her arch her back and facing the setting sun, and thrust her beautiful body into the warmth that remained and the breeze lifted her hair and she stood like the statue of a goddess and the drops collected on her face and neck and fell down on to her beautiful breasts and glowed like diamonds. She turned her head and smiling with contentment, eyes shining she leaned over and kissed me.

I ran my hand from her sweet round thigh to her shoulder and wiped the drops of rain away and felt her naked body and a chill ran through her as the wind blew and the sun finally faded.
Holding her closer we roled the sleeping bag around us and just listened to the thunder echo far away and the aspens rattle with the wind. She put her face into my neck and told me she had never felt so much happiness. I told her I as well. She asked me how I felt about her.

I will still go on loving you.

She held me with both arms and pushed her face into my chest, and she fell asleep and I swept her hair very gently across her long smooth neck and kissed her very slowly, caressing her cheek.

Even though her and I parted ways long ago, she is the girl I recall, that brought me as close to joy as I could ever have imagined. Even after all these years, I have no regrets, save one, that I could have stayed there forever, on that golden hillside in Montana.

LOL...just yesterday, I told this girl that I'm kinda seeing that I'm going to Estes Park in Colorado a month from now; and how it's like heaven on earth. I asked her to go with me, but she was a bit hesitant. Then I said, "You know, it would be nice to have an angel by my side while I'm in heaven".
