normally none, maybe a glass of red wine a week. can't really now anyway after the accident.

It's holiday over here, so maybe everyday a couple of beers (bottles that is). And when i go to a club/disco like ~15? It depends...

Oo, and you can drink alchohol legal here with the age of 16 :>

I was about to ask "How much is one unit?" but I followed the link and determined that by 1unit they mean 1cl (0,01l).

I only drink "socially" (and even then moderately) so I sometimes forget when was the last time that I had drank alcohol. I haven't got that problem at the moment though, I saw a friend last night and she felt like having a beer so I had a (0,5l) red ale too.

i use to drink about 12 to 24 on the week days and weekends more had to stop it because of the type of work i do..now i drink when theres a party but i still can drink a lot...

i work outdoors and every year seems to get hotter and hotter..

Great informational system when I can barely get grips on the unit thingy when sober.

No seriously, over the last few years I've slowly developed an aversion against beer and rarely buy any to go home with anymore. Now that I think of it I'll want a flask of Bombardier Ale as an aperitif some day, but know that when I'm standing there in the store I'll also consider the bother of bringing home a glass flask to have to recycle later.

I enjoy a couple of whiskey sorts and keep a favorite at home, but this 750cc bottle from last year just doesn't seem to want to dry up with how rarely it's opened and how little is poured from it. Good whiskey is not for getting drunk on, and bad whiskey is best not to drink at all. If you're interested it's Cragganmore 12y, a single malt with a complex flavor but not overly peaty or smoky like the really difficult ones.

I'm safely in the 1-5 range.

some weeks none at all
most weeks a good few beers , wine with dinner a couple nights..
some weeks, faaaaaaaar too much

The web site said that 0.5l of 4% beer equals 2 units so that's 1unit per 0,01l of pure alcohol drank (0.5l*0.04=0.02l).

My record is probably around 15units for one night - two water glasses of around 50:50 mix of vodka and a guarana based energy drink, which is not the smartest thing to mix with alcohol, but I'd sip it slowly over the course of the night and I'd be fine.

Still, I haven't drunk that in awhile and I usually drink less often than once a week so, having read on that website that Government's daily guidance is 2-3 units for women and 3-4 for men, I'm afraid that I'm badly undernourished in this aspect.

Depends on the week for me last week at the cottage I had 6 beer total. But on the same note New Years Eve when I was 21 I drank a whole 24. Man we learn to pace ourselves with age

I dont drink at all and seeing how some of my friends drink till they spew their guts am not planning on starting anytime soon

Probably about 10-15 units a week. I have no issues with this, in fact there's nothing I enjoy more than a few ciders after a hot day or a few glasses of red wine and a movie. The nanny state needs to learn to keep its nose out of peoples business.

That said, I never go out at the weekends anymore. Wading through crowds of absolutely paralytic people is not my idea of fun. Wonder why we have this problem in the UK.
