Excellent Richy, looks great, I have an Asus 4870X2, it has three of those beastly fans and is probably a bit longer, I was worried it wasn't going to fit in my case, just gets in.

Asus make cool looking cards.

well I'd stripped the lian li down to just the mobo left before it occurred to me that the Antec sonata isn't the biggest case in the world...

its looking pretty damn tight, maybe a couple mm's spare

I'll make it work somehow, no way I'm going away for a fortnight with just an old x800 to play on now

richy, i have an antec sonata case with a radeon 3870. ona the main reasons i havent scrounged up enough cash for a 4980 is the case size. looks to me like the card will fit, but you may be not able to use the fan mount on the backside of the HDD cage. having 4 hdd in there makes the fan almost essential imho, for me

oh btw, nice new shiny!

Becareful if you're transporting your rig, sounds like you're taking it away somewhere with you? those things are heavy and can get damaged in transit easily.
