Meh, the only real Stargate movie was the first serie - everything that followed were pity imitations and never reached quality. Proper casting is very important and that's where the problem lies. You can't make a good movie with a bunch of stone-faces.

Stargate SG-1's cast is still considered one of the best cast for majority of any shows out there.

Stargate Atlantis is excellently casted as well.

Stargate Universe I haven't seen.. but the torrent had over 500,000 leechers that i could see.

I think the first few seasons of Atlantis run concurrently with the last few of SG-1 (I *think* 1-3 & 8-10 respectively) with a few crossovers

as for universe, not sure where that falls in the timeline

Stargate seasons 8-10 matches up with Atlantis 1-3

just like what dj stated.

They are highly intwined, it's best to watch everything up to season 8 at which point it's a good idea to watch episode 1 of both.. then move onto episode 2 of both...

Universe saposedly takes place 6 months to a year after the end of atlatis season 5

watched it..

my view on it.


The main storyline of the series for me is solid and very good..

specially the very well intwined with the previous series.

However.. it's full of useless shit like the very start where the 2 are screwing in the closet room or whatever the hell that is.... WTF is that shit.. we don't need to see that.

Theres a little bit to much "stagnation" camera wise... to much focus on the silence and drama....

It was 1 hour and 30 minutes with about 30 minutes of decent stuff and 1 hour of melrose/90210 crap.

Little bit miffed about the way they are trying to go about making it apeal to larger audiance.... but they basically destroyed what made the show great in the process.

Quality over quantity is what they were doing before..... and they've lost it..

NOW hopefully it gets better....... but they've already filmed an entire season......
