Anti-wi-fi paint..
well I'm just about geeky enough that i thought this was cool

like the idea, but you gotta figure its gonna fook around with everything else you got that's wireless, bluetooth etc. can you leave the room with your bluetooth headset on and it still work for example? that kinda thing.. wonder if they could do a clear varnish the same ? you could unknowingly coat friends entire rooms in it, and they'd never know why their wifi didn't work throughout the house.. ![]() or just paint over the wifi aerial part of their laptop

2.5 to 5 ghz?
hmmmmmmm if your using WPA I thought that issue was almost moot, however I understand how WAP pollution might be minimized if you create a virtual container with structural painting... hmmmmmmm time for google and wiki..LOL

It would have to have some implications on the use of wifi within the house wouldn't it...or would it just be the boundaries

You know this was invented 20 years ago, when paint had LEAD in it.

Re: Anti-wi-fi paint..
then you've still got to take into account those big glass panels known as windows (though a thin lattice of aluminium wire will do the trick)

Re: Anti-wi-fi paint..
indeed...
RF is pretty hard to manage unless the channels and energy is focused and guided. I didnt know that you can pollute an area with RF if you have too many devices running at roughtly the same freq. Its mind boggling but it explains a great deal.
