Yea SP2! I remember when we didn`t had SP1 at Vista. Was horrible. I don`t know how it runs with sp2 installed but i guess it`s a good step forward.

I'd definitely suggest that you update the OS after install. That's true for every OS, BTW. The service packs tend to improve things, and are often necessary for further updates (like if you want DX11 support on Vista).

Sweet I will be doing a complete format and reinstall of my old outdated XP X64 this weekend then i will update my Vista Ultimate to SP 2

Hay guys just am update : Finally got my Vista Ultimate Installed and running fine on my machine the only thing left to do is install service pack 1&2, here is a question I used the windows live update thing does it install SP1&2 or do i have to download and install them manually and how do i check if they are installed ? do i check under installed software's like in XP ? and how do i disable that constant popup of are you sure you want to do this .... do you give this program permission to perform this operation...

Any way besides that am loving it thanks ET3D for the upgrade and DH too

If not just google Vista SP2, as for the popups you need to go into the Control Panel and then User accounts to turn off those notices, after doing so you will have to reboot and you will see a red X in the systray but it can be ignored, it is just saying your security settings need attention due to turning off the account protection
