Some of you might have heard of this here fella "Little Wayne", well I had a discussion with a friend and they were saying he is skilled and talented , well since i dont know any better and have not heard much of his music I really cant say that much.

But i'd like your opinion.

My personal opinion is that the word talent has really changed over the years, people can now make music with pure bravado and call that skill.

Well he's a 'c'Rapper so I expect he spends most of his time shouting about how much more money he has, how many more girls he's screwed, how hard his life was before, etc etc over someone else's music. I haven't listened to any of his productions though so can't really comment.

So many people say he's a "genius". I honestly think he's an unoriginal artist who sounds like he's about to throw up every time he "sings." Not to mention he looks like an ape and he makes songs about "hoes" and "bling." I can't respect anyone that makes music like that, and I can't enjoy that kind of music.. But, that's just me.

man has a dirty flow, he isn't up and coming, he's here. he's been around since he was 15 with the hot boys. i despise auto-tune, and the man isn't using it right now in his new hip hop songs.

but the man knows how to deliver a solid song, carter III definitely isn't his best work but he has some pretty crazy songs. one of my favorite rappers today definitely

For some reason, my left eye twitches every time I listen to Lil' Wayne rap or attempt to do so... Must be a normal reaction to lack of talent and undeserved fame.. I had the same reaction to Paris Hilton.

Lil' Wayne is a pretty decent MC, but he doesn't program his own beats, he stopped following his own style by following crappy trends in hip-hop and he's pretty much thrown all the originality out of his lyrics; all of these factors aside, he flows lke a stoned 6th-Grader who just ate his first piece of lemon-meringue taffy. If you've heard that single "Prom Queen" that he did, you understand what I mean.

If you want Lil' Wayne at his finest, check out his mixtapes; predominantly, Da Drought III and Dedication II. There's like 49 of them total and they have all been dumped throughout the internet for free download in numerous locations. Gewgle it!

Autotune is a plug in that should have never been invented. It has ruined the industry. Anyone with a few grand can now go into a studio or into garage band and sound good. It hurts my ears.
