Chilli Computers

I stumbled upon this site and I have to say I'm impressed! For the sake of this thread, let's pretend I live in Australia. I play a lot of games, and I am thinking about buying a Chilli Computer. Can you guys check out their systems (they have four: Mild, Spicy, Jalapeno, and Hot), and recommend one?

Australian dollars. The hottest... ~2200 USD. You could buils a better one for 1/3 of the price and paint the case yourself, though.

Whoa! Can you say "Overpriced"? Does hardware really cost that much in Australia? If it does, I hope the pricing is different in New Zealand. I was just thinking of looking for work down there for a year or two with my fiance...

Yes, the graphics cards come in "cool," "hot," "spicy, and "awesome," I think. I was just kidding about buying one -- I wanted to see if you guys noticed how bizarre these systems are. Who is going to buy a system with "awesome" video graphics?

There's a spanish channel that we get and they sell old crappy e-machines, and their prices are US. I think they were selling a 800mhz celeron e-machine for around 1200 bux about a month or two ago.

Just use stuff like "cd-rom!!!" "graphics!!" and "good sound!!"

i will never buy a prebuilt comp, i love the process of building a comp, not just the experience of using the comp.
