hardware heaven (formely DH) has always had a top rate rep as a fair a balanced reviews of the latest hardware .... so i'm not suprised to see HH logo next to cnet's ... it just goes to show the hard work put into this site by the entire admin team, and the reviewers is highly respected by alienware (dell) as a authority on computer hardware

PC Gamer. I got it for free as I'm already a subscriber to Edge. Go figure.

If anyone's interested, I checked out the price of PC Gamer and I thought "dang"; it's £2 extra per quarter. Edge is like 2.5 times as thick, higher-quality pages and ranges over all platforms. The articles are no better in either mag - they're just different.

Yeah I got it free for subscribing to Edge too, but missed that ad.

Still very sad that PC Zone has pulled the plug cos that covered games and hardware. Are there any other (good) magazines that do that?

I'd say I'm pretty up to speed with hardware.
As for games, I feel that when you look up games on the Internet you need to know what kind of game that you want. With a magazine, they give you all of the upcoming and newly-released games so you have to be shown them all. That way, I don't miss anything.
Deathspank, for example, I probably would never have heard about if it wasn't for Edge because it's not a game type I would have gone for. The game itself, however, is very enjoyable.

I got a leaflet through with Edge yesterday for Dell. On the Alienware laptop HH was the only logo (other than Dell) on it. I guess Dell really like HH.
