The Hidden (1987)

It was on TV late last night. A sci fi movie taking place on Earth of, well, 1987.

I missed the last few minutes because I fell asleep (very tired), but I plan on watching it again ASAP. What an amazing B-movie! Good story, disgusting something, very well done action sequences, enough dialogue to be good and funny without making you cry from boredom, amazing overall pace. Considering the theme, good acting, directing, visual effects, lighting, music, etc everything was just top notch.
Anyone else here has seen it? Even at The Hidden (1987) - IMDb it has a rating of 6.9 which for this type of movie and when it was shot, it is very high.

I don't know about you, but I give it easily a 8/10.

I read there is a not so good sequel, too.

Must have been long since I saw it but the trailer jogged my memory. Definitely a good one from that time, and still quite creepy.
