Looked quite a serious hit, I hope the dog did actually survive and they didn't just say that. Animals can be very intelligent and caring, sometimes more than some humans I find.

I remember a documentary on primates I watched. Several orangutans were playing in a tree while one was sitting not far away, looking sad. One of the guys from the tree, noticed that, got down, sat next to him and gave him a hug. I almost couldn't believe it.

Well in the Spanish version I found, which I think was the original from Chile, they said the dog died.
