Psychology Test
Here's a fun one from another forum I frequent (slightly rewritten).
There lived a woman named Abigail who was in love with a man named Gregory. Gregory lived on the shore of a river. Abigail lived on the opposite shore of the same river. The river that separated the two lovers was teeming with dangerous alligators. Gregory required Abigail to see him every night, or he would break up with her. Abigail needed to cross the river to see Gregory. Unfortunately, the bridge had been washed out by a heavy flood the previous week. So she went to ask Sinbad, a riverboat captain, to take her across. He said he would be glad to if she would consent to go to bed with him prior to the voyage. She promptly refused and went to a friend named Ivan to explain her plight. Ivan did not want to get involved at all in the situation. Abigail felt her only alternative was to accept Sinbad’s terms. Sinbad fulfilled his promise to Abigail and delivered her into the arms of Gregory. When Abigail told Gregory about her amorous escapade in order to cross the river, Gregory cast her aside with disdain. Heartsick and rejected, Abigail turned to her friend Slug with her tale of woe. Slug, feeling compassion for Abigail, sought out Gregory and beat him brutally. Abigail was overjoyed at the sight of Gregory getting his due. As the sun set on the horizon, people heard Abigail laughing at Gregory. THE EXERCISE: After reading the story, rank the five (5) characters in the story beginning with the one whom you consider as the “most offensive” and end with the one whom you consider the “least objectionable.” That is, the character who seems to be the most reprehensible to you should be entered first in the list following the story, then the second most reprehensible, and so on, with the least reprehensible or objectionable being entered fifth. Very briefly note why you rank them in the order that you do.

Re: Psychology Test
1) Sinbad -- He demanded her flesh in order for her to keep her vow to her lover. He took advantage of her in a weakened state for his own pleasure and got off scot free.
2) Abigail -- Given the circumstance, fate was out of her control -- but she compromised her own self dignity and respect by sleeping with Sinbad and then running to her friends when her boyfriend predictably dumped her. 3) Gregory -- His demand to see Abigail every night was unreasonable, but in this story he is less at fault than Sinbad and Abigail -- he did nothing but require her to keep that vow. 4) Slug -- He had no part in this until he heard his friend was upset and went to fix the situation in the best manner he could. 5) Ivan -- He didn't want to get involved, with good reason. He did nothing good nor bad.

Re: Psychology Test
1) Abigail. Wanted to remain in a relationship with a man that would split up with her for not crossing a river full of alligators, then just laughed at him being beaten later.
2) Gregory. Clearly a tw@, but during and at the end of the relationship. 3) Slug. Violence not a solution worth paying attention to here (unless you're an alligator). 4) Sinbad. I don't know why he didn't just ask for money or do it for free, but we haven't got the full circumstances here (cost and risk of crossing river in boat for him), so I don't want to judge to heavily. 5) Ivan. Just minding his own business amongst a load of retards and some alligators. At the end of the day, they're all pretty awful except Ivan, so I would have no argument with anyone preferring any other order that put Ivan at 5. EDIT: Synthesis, why is your new Avatar a cartoon of a retarded girl? Is she a character from something I've never seen?

Re: Psychology Test
you know after i thought about it a bit, it seems that all of them are equally wrong,
1) ivan : i wrong no-decision is like a bad decision, eg, toward the end of pirats of the Caribbean 3, the "chief" bad guys didnt know what decions to take,.... which lead to a lot of "death".. 1) greogry :being an over demanding ass 1) abigail : for compromising her dignity and "laughing" in the end at the guy she once loved 1) sinbad : for being a self centered idiot, .... to get laid 1) slug : volience,, the guy is just dumb t PS: this is truly an interesting question, as it provides an insight as to what your past is like and what you believe is right and wrong

Re: Psychology Test
@blibb: She's the forum avatar I use in most forums. I drew her one day when I was bored.
It also leads to hilarious wait-you're-not-a-girl-? moments ^^ Edit: Yeah. The point of the test is to show how moral you are and how your views/perceptions can influence judgment -- seeing as how no one agrees with me yet :P And Tyrsons...stop cheating.

I do see charm's point about Ivan being equally awful to the others, but I'd have to say that while his action (or lack thereof) is reprehensible it's not as bad as, for example, insisting that a woman sleep with you before she may make use of your boat service.

Re: Psychology Test
Wouldn't this be easier to sort out if we had nude photos of Abigail? You know, strictly for research........

Re: Psychology Test
I'm pretty sure that that's just a fat costume, but I've made the test easier for everyone. Clearly, the ferry operator was the worst :P
