Sorry to hear of the untimely death of Who bass player John Entwistle. He was an outstanding musician and, after reading the tributes in todays papers, a terrific person as well. He will be greatly missed.

Currently watching "The kids will be all right" on VH1. Ole Johnny just took some gold records off his wall, took them out to the back forty and used them for target practice!!
John will be sorely missed. Glad I saw The Who back in 1970. Truely a fabulous show, soon after the woodstock appearance and right around the time of "Who's Next". Magic Bus just came on so back to the show. RIP John

He was the only one of 'em who could ever keep a beat, and he kept the rest of them in check. The gods must of needed another bass player, for the man surely was.
