What music library/MP3/etc player do you use?
I was bored and got curious -- what do the members of HH use for video/audio files?
I am personally a really big VLC fan -- I have thousands of video files on my computer (yargh, matey) in dozens of formats, so it's a convenience thing (: As for music, I use MediaMonkey3 -- similar to iTunes, with compatibility for Android and such. And it's free, ofc.

cow, you should check out After Hours FM, or AH FM for short, its the best trance/dance/progressive station I've ever heard. You'll love it.
ah fm Radio Stations - Free Internet Radio For music I use iTunes, all my music is in aac format. For video I use different programs, everything from Windows Media Player to the divX media player. I mostly stream videos so most of the time I don't use a player.

PC - Winamp for music (it really kicks the Llama's ass). I use either WMP or MPC for videos utilising the codecs of CCCP.
Portable - my phone. My last phone was used as an MP3 player (in addition to a phone) too.

Re: What music library/MP3/etc player do you use?
I use VLC as well, great player, never could figure out a way to include the player list into the player unfortunately.
For music I use iTunes, for my iPod (I have one of those iPod antiquity, almost 5-6 years old I think, 80 GB, my oldest technologic possesion )

Re: What music library/MP3/etc player do you use?
I use MPC-HC for videos, MKVs, AVIs and MP4s. I never use anything else, it is lightweight and has all the options I could need. The only slight niggle is that thumbnails are not created for MKV files but this is a Windows thing which will probably be addressed in Windows 8.
For music I use WMP - no need to install anything else IMO. |

WMP
It works. Different story when I'm mixing and editing, but that's not what was asked.

Re: What music library/MP3/etc player do you use?
For music, I'm with Takaharu.
I like the UI (especially for its customisability) and the breadth of options. There's something about WMP I just don't like, and besides, iirc it doesn't play .flac files. Quote:
