I haven't claimed this audio healing thing is bullshit. My opinion is it's probably bullshit but I haven't claimed it until now. I did say the 'emotional water' thing was bullshit and I have stated why.

I say 'Well that sounds like nonsense to me, I don't accept it". By your reckoning I now have to prove that his stones are not cancer curing in order to reject his claims. If that's the way you go about your life then I have some magic beans you might be interested in.

Claims require evidence, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence and not all claims are equal. Someone might claim that his brother works for Natwest and I might take him at his word with no more evidence required. Somone else might claim his brother works for NASA - I would then be justified in asking for more evidence for supporting this claim. I don't have to prove his claim is false - the onus is on the claimant.

No, I did not say anything like that. You told me you needed evidence to make a claim and I was pointing out you were making a claim without evidence. Either way, you do not need evidence to reject an idea, but you cannot claim to 'know' if it's true or not without it no matter how dull or outrageous the claim is.

Everybody makes decisions like this everyday. We couldn't function if we didn't. Someone makes a spurious claim and we are justified in saying 'bullshit' unless the claimant provides strong supporting evidence. Calling bullshit is not making a claim. That doesn't mean you have claimed 'knowledge'.

Boils down to useful knowledge against absolute knowledge. I don't think anyone could actually know 'anything' for absolute certainty. I'm still justified in dismissing this until provided with good evidence.

Yes i'm skeptical about the whole "healing frequencies" thing but it's not unheard of for someone lying in a coma to regain some functionality of their brain after Mozart, Bach, ect has been played for x amount of time. Scientists theorise it's to do with the frequencies used in the music.

Now keep it level headed please people, And don't start with the whole "Can you prove it's NOT true" because that's just silly I CAN Prove that we breath oxygen, I can't prove we don't breath some form of liquid gold for instance.
