Truly horrific, I couldn't watch all the video, but I can only prey the people I saw didn't realise that was a child on the ground. I think I'd lose all faith in man if they knowingly walked by.

Or didn't realise that she wasn't ok... but the second van clearly noticing her, and then running over her anyway! Appauling.

Sometimes people get so absorbed in the mindless rush of day to day life that I swear they wouldn't notice an alien invasion until the got home in the evening unless someone pointed it out to them. At least I hope that that's the explanation for this, as opposed to plain selfishness.

Did you guys read any of the comments on the first link? These people don't stop to help anyone out of fear of being accused of causing the situation...... Apparently local judges sometimes rule in that direction......

Yeah reading the comments it seems the passers by were very wary of getting involved for fear of being accused of being party to the accident. Add in the fact that any judgement going against them would mean absolute financial ruin of the sort people in the west couldn't really imagine and the picture starts to change a little. Still a very sad situation.
