On average men spend 81 minutes a day on personal grooming, including cleansing, toning and moisturising, shaving, styling hair and choosing clothes, the study found.

Women have their beauty regime down to a fine art and get hair, clothes and make-up done in just 75 minutes.

i think they sat in at the jersey shore area and used them as their sample for the research....

I spend exactly 0 seconds preping...

i wake up... grab the nearest cloths i can..... walk out the door and am gone...

I shower the night before.

I've never known a woman to take a short amount of time prepping themselves in the morning. Personally, I get up, shower, stick on jeans & a t-shirt and that's it for my "grooming".

This survey sounds like BS to me. I get up, get a 2 minute shower, 4 minutes if I need one of my thrice weekly shaves. Out, dry, touch of moisturiser. Job done. Getting dressed and brush my hair. 10 minutes maximum. 81 minutes my ass!

My sister is irritating though. She spends almost an hour in the bathroom just to take a shower and one more hour to choose which dress matches with her earings.

Im not with a partner,but for me if im off out it takes me a good half hour...

A) Shower & Dry off
B) Shave
C) Pick clothes & dress
D) Off out

But asim the only male in the family and have 3 sisters.... Each of them take a minimum 1.5 hours and can be longer.

So the servey results are incorrect with those who i know..

In, head under, shampoo, rinse = 30 seconds tops.

Mind you I only turn on the boiler if I'm getting a shave - nothing like a cold shower to get you going in the morning

some of us regularly shave our heads

it actually takes me more time to wash my face cos of all the beard than it does my hair

i thought it implied that on an average day we all spend X amount of time getting ready, no ?

cos if you're talking big night out (as quite a few of you have), then yeah i'll put a bit of extra time and effort in

heck, for a big night out i can spend a full hour choosing footwear tbh
but then, i do have a problem with that whole shoe fetish area..
