The radiator in my dads truck broke right as summer began, and when we bothered to fix it it was just starting to get cold enough when we didn't need it, then we got into an accident and the radiator broke once again right at the beginning of summer. We fixed it a few weeks later, and then the engine died about a month later.

wha? you don't really need the radiator? Since when, even durring the COLDEST winters of like -50*C, you NEED a radiator....

Well we were running it without one
luckly it wasn't his main truck. My dad only used it when his main one was filled and he didn't have time to empty it for a particular job.I was reffering to the weather. Seeing as how it got hot and cold at the wrong times. |

Leave it alone for a while. I have some roof work and exterior painting to do.

at least you gave it some extra protection against the elements so i'd say that don't count. Last edited by MIG-31; Aug 2, 2003 at 01:42 PM. |

On the bright side it did clear up for the party last night ... Would have been a pain to take the PA system and band equipment back inside
