Nice email virus ploy

Well as most of you know, viruses in email are quite commonplace nowadays (thankfully to thebat! they dont even reach me), but I got a really clever one today, well certainly more creative at least, this is how it went.

from: admin@driverheaven.net
to: zardon@driverheaven.net

Hello there,

I would like to inform you about important information regarding your
email address. This email address will be expiring.
Please read attachment for details.

well of course the "afwaoaeo" was the part that amused me, and im sure will amuse you, as im not really aware of making anyone an admin on here with that name

still im sure this kind of bulk email style ploy will get some people thinking the administrator of their ISP/website is emailing them with an attachment to renew their email..

a tip to them though:

1: give the administrator at least a semi believable name such as "john" im not really aware of too many people called afwaoaeo !

Why do people do this stuff?
Never in my life have I ever wanted to F#$& up someone else's stuff!
Even as a teenager I never did! Sometimes I'm glad I had parents that
would have kicked the dogshit outta me for something like that.

man i got that one before i also get so many in my hotmail and its subject like... "jkxxyrlltuwxxl" or "jjalpqBeedrooom aactiivity iincrreasewzutt"???

Well Z since @driverheaven.net was part of the Email address ...... umm .....
They could have easily joined and saw the listing of the Admins and the rest of the staff ... DUH

I don't think it's a virus - just social engineering trying to get you to change isp/hosting
