It pays to KNOW people.....
My bro came home today with a FREEBIE 'Official' CD of Paint Shop Pro 8!!!
A guy he works with at his job has a wife that works in advertising. He was telling the guy at work how he's a registered owner of PSP 3,4,5 and 7. The guy told his wife about it and about how my bro was really impressed with the auto photo-enchancment feature of PSP8 demo version. His wife is supposed to learn all about PSP8 so she can pimp it at stores. She told her contact about my bro's enjoyment of the program and the guy handed her a full version PSP8 CD to give to my bro. We also got a couple of large-loop keychains that say jasc.com on one side and Paint Shop Pro 8 on the other out of the deal. Ain't that sweet? That sucker is a $100 program! |

Very cool Rayder! I love hearing of companies generosity. As a matter of fact I found out yesterday the Z board I reviewed is now officially mine. I was floored when they told me I could have it free and all of the interfaces that came with it. No one can deny that kind acts such as you told of and me are what helps to seperate a company from the rest.

Pretty sweet.. but wouldn't it be better if you got Adobe Photoshop 7.0 as a freebie? ($400 or more).
Haha, I'd rather just use pirated softwarre.

THat is cool.....
I too have been on the receiving end of some companies generosity.... I am the fist "Buying" customer of the MadLights lighting system (Madlights) Becasue of this I now get some of their new products for testing and then get to keep them for free. Some companies just realize that doing things like giving away some free products is eventually very good marketing for them.....
