Yea I was close... I actually only know about it because of my mom and uncle used to talk about it... hell my mom still sings that song every once and a while...lol

77 Sunset Strip was a very popular TV Series starring Ephrem Zimbalist, Jr, Connie Stevens, and Edd Byrnes (the "Kookie" in the song title.)
