i think your mistaken, steve case from aol stepped down his position to chairman..

i could be mistaken aswell, but why in your right mind would you give up a company like microsoft? i'd need some proof that he did to be convinced...

He hasn't given up the company.... He just didn't want an active roll. Now he can just sit on his like 75% stock share and still run the company without an official position. As for proof, going to have to look at someone else. I'm too lazy.

I don't understand why so many people dislike Bill Gates. I don't see anything wrong with what he's doing. He's just a shrewd and intelligent businessman leading a successful company. It was his vision that made it possible for nearly everyone today to own a personal computer in their homes at a very low cost to consumers. He set the PC foundation for all over the world. What's wrong with that? Who cares if he has a monopoly? How does that negatively affect me? I've never been attacked by viruses, hackers, and trojans because of his software. Buying XP cost me around $100 which I think is reasonable. Also, XP works with every single game, software, and hardware I have. Even hardware from 8 years ago!!

So far, I like Microsoft and I hope they cream all other OS competition like Linux and Apple.
