a question...
which country do you think was the most powerful country in the world at their time? great britain at her peak? the roman empire at hers? or the USA now? thos are not the only three you can choose from, just examples...
Personally (and i am really not trying to be over patriotic or anything) i think that the USA is now. The US probably has a much better grip on the world through economic imperialism but with the introduction of nukes, biological weapons and stuff like that it's harder to flex our muscles. A country like Korea could make a mess that could directly or indirectly ruin us. mind you, we do have enough nukes to destroy the world 10 times over. And i don't think bush would hesitate to threaten the entire world in order to keep our spot at number 1... and i think that is why we are the most powerful nation (and the ONLY superpower), because we can threaten a country with pure destruction. Please don't start a flame war, i just would like your opinions... |

China...incomprehensible numbers and the tech savvy to rival our own..they are emerging and will be a world threat or power of unequalled strength very soon

china has always been the biggest...... the only problem is getting there brute force of numbers to a location..... if china had some way of getting all of there army onto such as either of the the northamerican coasts...... we wouldn't never be able to stop them.....
