3) do u ever have to pay paypal? (unless ur the seller)

1) Some may argue, but I've been using it for years and have never had problems with security.
2) I've been using PayPal for quite some time and they've never charged me anything for making payments.
3) I think if you're accepting a payment there is a small fee, but never when sending them.

Happy bidding!

Default Post Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the link. I tried to find that page once on their site, but I got a head-ache too damned quick. (The Dig does NOT like financial matters....makes brain hurt! )

Thanks Sourcer, they seem pretty reasonable. Is it just me or are they the total no-brainer choice for the amateur businessman wanting to accept credit cards on the web? (WHY did e-bay have ta buy them yesterday! )

PayPal will get better than it is I'm sure, now that EBay bought them out. For over a billion dollars.

Jeeze, it sounds pretty good to me already! I have a dear friend who I helped out when he was opening up a used bookstore in Evanston, ("Bookshelves!!! F-ing BOOKSHELVES!!!" I remember waking up in cold sweats screaming that for a few weeks after....we did about a week solid of 18-22 hour days of mind numbing WORK! Oh, happy memories! ), and I remember being shocked at the thought that the CC companies wanted to charge him like 5% to accept their cards!

Those prices seem damn reasonable considering I could set myself up to receive CC inside of 24 hours.

Don't get me wrong, I hope they do improve it. It just sounds better than I expected already.

EXCUSE ME... members of DH... we would like to inform you that you have been mislead... and that in fact due to our policy of extreme evil we charge people a 100% commission for transferring funds."
