Power from H20
(not sure which to place this in)
One day, if a discovery by two University of Alberta engineering professors bears fruit, cellphones could be powered by a pressurized water system that would eliminate the need to recharge batteries. With the help of two graduate students, engineering professors Daniel Kwok and Larry Kostiuk were able to light a small bulb by squeezing a syringe of ordinary tap water through a ceramic "filter" containing 10,000 microscopic tubes. http://faster.de/modules.php?name=Ne...rder=0&thold=0 |

Perpetual motion?
An "over unity" system. I've wound that if you wander internet links for long enough, you always seems to end up at a conspiracy theory site, or a perpetual motion theory site. The basic "law" that says perpetual motion must be impossible, is based on what would happen in a perfectly closed and insulated system. Any continuing generation of surplus energy - which however used, always ends up as heat, would result in an ever-increasing temperature. Recovering waste energy, or converting additional energy from lower grade to higher grade, is possible - eg. the heat pump which extracts heat from one place, to put it in another. |

the theory and practice is flawed..... there are way to many specifics that have to come into effect that make that theory wrong and right.... I do believe perpetual motion (that was the word i was looking for, thanks! ).... does excist....
