Catalyst Maker is Da Man

Well I just wanted to put forward a huge [SIZE=xx-large]Thank You[/SIZE] to Terry over at ATi. As you are all aware, ATi is holding an online auction on Yahoo . When this auction first went live, they had the AIW 9700 Pro as one of the cards. I went to place a bid on one of the cards and it showed the auction closed and only 1 bidder but they showed 66 units available to bid on... Needless to say I was pissed since I wanted my shot at one of these hard to find cards.

This is where Catalyst Maker enters the picture

After briefly speaking with Zardon, I sent off an email to Terry explaining what had happened and how I thought it a bit odd that they sold the entire 66 units so quickly to 1 bidder. Well Terry said at that point for me to leave it with him because he did not think they should have sold the full compliment of cards to 1 buyer and so soon after the auction went live....

I just got word back from Catalyst Maker a short while ago that ATi was going to offer me a buy now price of $199 USD on the AIW 9700 Pro....this is $20 above what the I saw that the bidder paid on the auction but he had to purchase 66 units to get that price

So all I can say is [SIZE=x-large]Thank You Terry and Zardon[/SIZE] for backing me on this issue and for showing such a high level of customer service in regards to this issue....

I am soon going to be the proud owner of an ATI AIW 9700 Pro

[rant]ATI would never do that for me with my rep. 3 dead r9800pros after I have tried LN2 cooling them and voltmodding, and ect... I couldn't be trusted. [/rant]

My dad's friend has a liscence to buy (use?) it. He bought it for me and showed me how to dispense it.

It was before I had a camera. I just got my camera about a month ago. I have dead cards I could show you though

Well it's a done deal

Now I have to decide what to do with my 9500np....

I think I should keep it and just grab a board and CPU and throw another system together since I have all the other parts kickin around other than a monitor
