I think some of the admins are a bit "locking happy"...

What is a off-topic forum used for? Just for bullshit talking, making fun...
So thats what we do... But in my opinion, you close the treads to fast cause of what you call "spam"..
In my opinion, we are just making fun...

I take it you mean This thread and This thread? they were closed by GI BRO (supermoderator incidentally not an administrator) because really both of these threads turned into quite ridiculous threads, dont you agree? the use of massively oversized type makes it virtually impossible for anyone to read without having a 16000x12000 capable monitor. Im all for fun dude like all the staff, but we have to draw a line when a thread goes to the "Useless" phase.

Go have a look at them and then get back to me and let me know if you still feel they are worth having open

You are entitled to your opinion and certainly a certain amount of 'spam' is tolerated but lately it has got out of hand. Even the 'Off-Topic Forum' has to have a certain amount of meaningful content or it soon becomes just that 'meaningless'. We aren't trying to be killjoys here it's just that we don't want the forum swamped with posts that are little more than a poorly disguised attempt at increasing post-count.

I wassnt only talking about thos 2 treads, i just noticed more often that i see topics get closed pritty fast when people are just making fun, ofcource, some topics need to be closed, but in my opinion i just think things get closed to fast sometimes... And hey, its just an opinion

No, I think they should be. Especially when I read threads and every other post consists of 3 different people. I aint naming names but it's easy to see. Just click on just about any off topic thread. Look at the three main posters. Don't worry. You won't miss who they are.

i think that them particular threads were justified to be closed as it were going on beyond belief.i think that the two main ones were getting a little carried away with the posts and found themselves in a bit of a race to get to 500 posts first.

but must add we all do the occasional spamming.

It was only a little bit of fun - no harm intended. And I agree - those threads were getting out of hand - lol - I had better put a stop to it now - maybe in a few months time again!
