The weekly dental update.....

Went to oral surgen today for my consultation thingy. He gave me about a 7 min exam opening my mouth so wide i thought it was going to break lol. Then I sat and watched a short film on wisdom teeth removal and the dangers etc.. Today i finially found out what my denist was talking about me needing a fenectomy I did not know the adverage person can reach the back of thier mouth with thier tounge . Hell all this time I thought i was normal not being able to move my tounge like that. So I am tounge tied. This does not affect my speech like it does most people with this condition.

Well then came the bill:

Extraction of tooth #2 $111.00

and i thought my bill for £330 uk were expensive.

for a total a 4 visits,1 10 min checkup,2 30 mins,and a final 15 min appointments. for 1.25hrs in total.

just for

1 removal of broken molar

1 gold cap on a second damaged molar

1 new tooth on upper front as a result of a indoor hockey match 17 years ago were capped and recently lost.which having a new tooth fitted next week which i will then be able to smile with a full set of front teeth.

Because of the lack of no adult teeth under two of my bottom baby molers.... they decided to start sinking and fused to my jaw bone..... they ripped me appart to get that fixed up... but came up with a pretty pathetic way of keeping my teeth in alignment..... they put a "tempory" brace just to keep my teeth from pointing out or inward.... didn't do anything from moving around to fill the huge gaps..... Now my bottom teeth are spread all to hell..... now heres the pincher...... for what the did, yanking 2 teeth..... 8 needles (i'm VERY resistant to anything that'll numb me or put me under)... and the stainless steal in my mouth, probably over the $1500.... canadian.... and seeing as we lived on a farm... FARMERS get no benifits at all, all out of our pockets..... now i complained and said that it would have been not only cheaper.. but more futureproof to build a simple brace using there idea.... instead of a bar..... put to slips and a bar.... to force the teeth from not being able to move... (might draw a picture up sometime to better explain)....... the idiot got a little upset...... 2 years after waiting in line for a checkup with this "special" guy, he quoted me at 6-10,000$, now, at this point i'm thinking he's outa his mind..... not only that, but so did my parents.... I've never had a cavity, never needed a filling... never had anything done.... I think what they did to me was on purpose in hopes to settle for the 6 grand.... The comment, "move to canada".... really doesn't mean anything.... it all depends on usually were you work..... ALOT of jobs, will give a dental covery of sorts..... and other benifits.... no matter were you live... medicare doesn't do dental....

maybe so but wait till you get a full time job,you still have to pay for dental treatment.Oswell as all the scroungers who get treated for nothing by us tax payers.
