yeah thats a little crazy but McDonalds workers are a pain in the ass...i mean how hard is it to make a burger the way it is ordered???...Idiots

Markius trust me you would be amazed, majority of the people dont have a clue how to communicate what they want to you, I have worked tech support many years but I never saw as many stupid people until I worked for one month at McDonalds drive thru all I can say is WOW!

i have worked in retail many years and am well aware of the amount of people with communication problems....
but give me a break...its a freakn burger for gods sake

I worked at Mc Ds before
It'sinconvient to make a custom burger. Why? Take into consideration that you're probably not the only one customizing it at that moment and a custom burger "disrupts" the routine. Yes, there is a routine. Mc D employees are trained to make a typical cheeseburger. There are others in line as well.
Of course this "Extra Mayo" on the Cheeseburger example is VERY easy to do. Just a squirt of mayo from the mayo gun and slap on a "Grill sticker". I don't understand why they didn't just give her the mayo~ Dumbasses.

I personaly treat the workers at McDonalds without respect. They don't treat the people who want their food with respect.

Or do you know these ppl really don't treat you respect? There are good employees too you know. I guess working at Mc Ds takes the whole "They're not real ppl and are scum" mindset I semi-supported and thought before working there.

it is anoying.... but... all you have to do is phone in... say there was a mixup.. or come RIGHT BACK RIGHT AWAY and show your reciept..and show your burger.... and say.. WTF?.... volla... not only do your get what you orginally ordered...but sometime you may just end up with some freebie....

That is still too much effort. I feel no sympathy for Fast Food workers. It's the crapiest job around and it's just a temporary job for most people anyway. Now if they tried to get our orders right more often, people would be less angry.

I will tell you something: I eat out a LOT because of being single and because of the type of work I do.
ANYONE that I order food from, I treat with respect. I'd rather not give ANYONE any excuse to tamper with my food. (Not that anyone would, but, you just never know.)

Actually, mayo on a cheeseburger is very good....if you have the taste for it. I'm quite fond of mayo myself....on just about any sandwich.
Anyone here tried a mayo/peanut butter/banana sandwich? Yummy!!!

Another thing... if it's the only place that will hire you do to shortage of jobs available... sorta means your stuck... which is my case..... i've been there since end of augest..... even though it's temporary... it's probably a job i might have to live with for about a year.. or more...

If I felt as though I was getting my money worth at McDonalds I would probably be nicer towards people. I'm very nice to the people at DQ and Wendys.

{rant}Ok, I've just come home from my 8 hour shift, at McDonalds, ok, I don't need to come home after putting up with idiots like you the general public, dissing me, assuming I work here full time and am going nowhere, asumming I don't have an education and I don't kno how to make food. It's true mcDonalds does get it's far share of idiots, I work with some, but don't tar us all with the same brush. After all you'd only complain to the government about unemployments rates if it wasn't for mcdonalds taking any joe who can turn up on time on. I like my job, it's good money, easy work, the social life is great and it can be a real laugh. thankyou. {/rant}
