Working online

Ok,

Well this thread was brought on by Zardon's news post about the Article from the inquirer "The Joys of Running a Tech Site" Here ...

This was interesting enough to me, as I am currently looking for employment in such a field. I am looking for a job where I can utilize the skills I am learning through my education for a Computer Web Technologies Degree. I currently build office furniture for my district area, and do a LOT of driving. Since I own a older car (that Im currently restoring)... The amount of driving makes it imposiable to keep the car in good condition (let alone restore it). Hence why Im looking for a better job.

As for my query: I am curious to know if anybody out there in the DH community have any Helpful hints, tips, leads... anything about working one's way into a career field such as the one I have explained above. May it be a internet related or not, The field of cutting edge technology intrest me in any form.
