Advice Request
I am trying to decide on a pair of new S-ATA Hard Drives - choices from the following:
Maxtor 160GB x 2 - approx £160 Maxtor 200GB x 2 - approx £190 Samsung Spinpoint 160GB x 2 - approx £165 Which do you think? I think the extra £30 may be worth the extra 80GB I would get from 2x200GB - do you? |

get the samsung drives, they are very well crafted high performers, and very quiet.

I have had really bad luck with Maxtor since they bought Quantum.......I am not familiar with the Samsung drives, haven't had the chance to use them. If those drives are anything like the quality of there other stuff......awesome!!

hmmm... think I may go for the samsungs then
- the only ones that I wish I could get ahold of are the Hitachi Deskstars, they have unbeatable performance. Can anyone recommend somewhere in the uk to get them from please? Thanks
