Who do you think would win in a fight...A Tiger or a Grizzly-Bear..?
I think the tiger would kick Vinnie the Pooh's ass!!

Edit : And i mean a bigass African tiger...

I saw on a discovery nature show once where these two animals do come in contact in the wild in certain places, cannot remember where- and have even been video taped fighting. I think the Grizzly killed the tiger- of course it wasn't an 12' long African tiger or anything. I'll have to see if I can look that up. I vote Grizzly, those things are monsters.

The tiger is faster and more lethal, teeth meant for the task , stronger jaw, goes for the trough

The bear is slower but very strong, teeth does the job, weaker jaw, wide open for a attack on the neck

If you could get the 2 crazed/drugged enough to fight the tiger would most likely win...

But a tiger would/will not fight a bear ... why?

For one the 2 live no were near each other

for 2 you need to understand if a predator such as a tiger, lion etc feel that it could be injured it will not attack and will go its marry way. why? because f survival if the animal become injured it can't hunt. Cant hunt = can eat = death... its that simple

If you have a run in with a bear you've got a got a chance
If you have a run in with a tiger your lunch

anyway there would be no fight, a grizzly bear would win in a fight, their claws and brute strength would rip a tiger apart, even with a tigers extra speed. you who voted for a tiger obviously aint seen a grizzly bear in action.

I've seen brown bears in the wild-- 2 feet away from me- even those are scary (the big ones)

But full grown grizzlys? omg, they're Hell on earth to anything they're wanting to eat/scare/chase away. I think they might be just as fast as tigers too. (paw speed)

We have many types of bears here in Canada .. Their claws are Razor sharp .. And there body mass and strength is incredible ... Umm who started this thread??

Unless the Tiger is being backed up by a terrorist group .. then I voted bear

And as a further note I would like to respond too the subject of Neons spelling ..
He is a Gold member and a good friend of mine .. Any comments from members or Staff PLS direct them too me ..

I am a great speller but my keyboard skills suck .. Same as Neon ..If I see any further bantering of Neon on this thread .. I will contact Z upon the closing of this thread ....

like neon said.....the tiger will go straight for the throat...even if the grizzly knocked the tiger away (wich i assume it would) it wouldnt be able to fight with its throat torn out/damaged.....

let me put it like this...who would win a fight between bruce lee and avander hollyfield?
avander is huge (like grizzly) but would be struck down in one (maybe two if he is lucky)
strikes....

so after dribling all that crap id say the tiger
