I use a Canon Powershot G2, and an S110, as well as an S300.

I like Canon the best right now.

Dream Camera: Canon EOS 1Ds

Settling Camera: Canon EOS D60 (Or Digital Rebel, but I think I like the D60 better (mainly because of the controls))

For my main camera I have been using a Nikon N90s with the normal assorted lens. I bought a cheap HP C500 2mp digital, just so I would have something to get quick shots on the computer. Last night I finally made the conversion and bought a Fuji S5000 digital. This camera does everything that my Nikon did, and does it with more versatility.

I tend to lean more towards the Nikon and Fuji camera's.

Dream camera......Nikon D1x or Fuji S2 Pro (both use Nikor lens)

I bought the camera I would settle for......the Fuji FinePix S5000 w/10x optical zoom

I have a Nikon Coolpix 3100 and, as I'm not such a camera buff, I'm happy with it!

My bro is the photographer in the house. He's got 3 cameras and 2 camcorders:

A Minolta X700 SLR with 5 different lens attachments. This is a regular 35mm film camera.

A Minolta DiMage 7i digital 5 megapixel with a 1 gig MicroDrive.

A Kodak DC4800 digital 3.1 megapixel with a 512 meg CompactFlash card.

A Sony digital 8 camcorder (don't know the exact model, it was top-of-the-line when he bought it 2 years ago) with an 8 hour battery.

An old full-size VHS camcorder (also don't know the exact model) needs a battery

He's also got a cheapo camera, brand-name 'Largon'.....it's total cheapness though, 640x480 res.

He's been eyeballing a Fuji FinePix S5000 very closely lately too. But he hasn't bought it yet.

Almost forgot to mention.....
He rigged up a 'steel-box-like' case to have solar panels on the side and gel-cell batteries inside of it to charge and/or power his equipment as well as hold all the cams.

He's a madman!

I got both my toys earlier this year and have been more than satisfied with both. I use a Nikon CoolPix 4300 for my pics and a JVC DVL520U for the movies. I was dreaming of a Canon G3 but it was way out of my price range.

The G3 is an excellent camera, as is the G5. , but I think I'd prefer something like the Digital Rebel over the G5, and you can get the Rebel for about $850 now I believe. (You'll need to buy a lens too, but I've already got a few EOS lenses.)

I use a Kodak DX3700 3.1 MegaPixel.

I would love to have one of the big dawgs from Canon or Nikon.

Well......I have been using this Fuji S5000 for a couple of days now......and I have to say.......I LOVE THIS CAMERA!!! Excellent pictures, quick shutter speeds, great battery life, video with sound, and video out put to any TV with RCA connectors!! Makes it great for when you take a bunch of pictures and want everyone to be able to see them......at the same time Completely satisified with this camera

I have the Canon Powershot S45. It's awesome, and even the "movie mode" is, in my opinion, absolutely awesome considering that the camera's main purpose is simply to take still pictures. ... my dream camera would probably be Canon EOS Digital Rebel.

I've been using a Kodak DC3400 for over 3 years now. I'd love to upgrade to a newer one, but this one does a splendid job. (Nearly all the photos I post in Heavenly Visions are taken with this camera.)

I've had a LOT of compliments on the quality of the photos over the years.

If I were to upgrade, I'd want at least 4 MegaPixels and the ability to rotate images on the camera itself. (I like to use the TV Out display for slideshows, and any pics I take with the camera turned come up sideways on this one.)

But, I'm so pleased with what I've got, I'm in no big hurry to upgrade.

I'm using the original Olympus M1 for my film photography. Hand-me-down from a parent+aunt who shared it and a set of decent lenses for it. My dream camera that I have a chance of getting is a Canon 300D - delicious dslr action I also sorta want some Hasselblad equipment, but I haven't won the lotto yet

I was originally looking for one of the Fuji's with the 6x zoom....like the S3000 for $300......but when you compare the S3000 and the S5000.........the S5000 won in all areas and it was only $100 more. Plus it has the 10x optical and 2.2 digital zoom...or 22x effective. The 3000 has 3.2mp only, but the 5000 has a 3.1mp but because of the "next generation" ccd.....it is able to produce 6mp format and quality. Battery life is awesome to say the least. The 2100 mah batteries it calls for "energizer ni mh" will last for 420+ pictures with flash usage.

I know........I am rambling again But I really do have nothing but good to say about this camera!!

My dream would be a Fuji Finepix S2

But I would settle for canon EOS 300D (I think this is classed as the Rebel in the states)
