This is FOR REAL!!!! My bro saw this on the News one day and was spazzing over it. I only got to see a teeny tiny bit on a commercial previewing them (or was it TechTV? Hmmm...). But yes!!! They exist. I'll bet the average Joe couldn't afford them in a million years though.

Man!!! I'd love to terrorize our cat with one of those, especially if it could speak. Imagine it chasing the cat around going, "KITTY, KITTY, KITTY", with its little hands opening and closing.

Its always nice to see advances in the robot industry, looking pretty good. I like the perfect syncronization they can achieve through programming though

Well I reckon there fake. From the camara shaking but not actaully moving from the same spot. Easily done on a computer these days. Think I'll look in to this further though before I make a fool of meself :P#

Yea Japan is REALLY pushing the idea of having robots for home use to do various chorus and what not. They are getting REALLY close too. This robot is a big step in the right direction

Just think what it will be like 20 years from now? That robot will probably become fairly reasonable priced in about 5 years I would say. Hell they already have bots in japan that can do things like turn the TV on and do various other things around house and can be both talked to and will talk back.

It's freaky really how far they have come in the feild of robotics compared to the rest of the world

Well, the only problem is: they can only do a limited number of tasks... I saw a robot, who could only walk and use stairs, but only using stairs is a leap in robotics I heard...

Btw, I prefer to do most stuff myself...

Apparently these little buggers went for their first jog or something a few days back! I don't know if that means without any help whatsoever around a track or they took the company dog (aibo isnt it?)out for a quick trip for munchies :P
