Banana for sale on Ebay

TO ADD to the collection of weird but true Ebay auctions, a man in Barnstaple is selling a banana on Ebay.
Bids have reached 25 pence, or five shillings as we used to call it.

Richard Graham says that postage is included in the cost, and the fruit will be shipped anywhere in the world. The banana may not survive the experience, he says.

As the auction still has four days to run, the skin may already be turning black by the time the lucky buyer picks up the bargain of a lifetime.
