Someone stole my Social Security Number...

I wanted to join an affiliate program so i went to www.jumpforce.com to join theirs, they asked me for my SS# and it wasn't the first place that had asked me for it, and they said it was to make sure that they could pay me. So i went ahead and gave it to them, then at the thank you page it said to expect an email within 10 minutes. I've been waiting for a full day now! So can somebody tell me what to do now?

Go search up JumpForce in google and look at the pages that pop up

i looked at google's results from the search, and it would really concern me if i where u. u have a right to be angry at these people. they cheated u.

well not only did they cheat me but they have the ability to steal my identity now... and that sucks, bad

You better report this to your SSI poeple so you don't get faud. From now on if some ask for you SS online that means could be a hacker or never get out your phone too.

But you should called SSI tomorrow morning once they open bud so they can cancel the old SS

You sure lived up to your name general...

People: Besides bank loans, college enrollment, and employment (and some other obvious things)...there is NO one who should have your social security number. NEVER give it out, NEVER.

Contact the SS bureau and they can issue a fraud alert for your SSN.

some advertisers requre it to report your earnings to the irs
